Around Provo, the haunts are mostly outdoors and some of them are huge. The Haunted Forest in American Fork claims over a million square feet of haunted trails, starting from a fog-filled graveyard midway with fire-eaters. They say popular nights sell out, so buy online. Frightbelly's at Cornbelly's in Lehi is 20-plus scenes on a trail through the corn for $37.99, and that ticket covers the regular farm stuff too. Heads up: you pick your Frightbelly's entry time in person at the ticket window, so get your group together before you go.

Field of Fright in Spanish Fork is a haunted corn maze plus an abandoned farm town, $24.95 on weeknights. For kids, I'd go with Haunted Halloween Haven, also in Spanish Fork. It's FREE, all ages and light on the gore, with a 25-minute projection show. It's open rain or shine, so dress for it.
