Only five places made the Hudson Valley list, and most of them are big, multi-attraction parks. Why so few? Only places that posted 2026 dates make it. Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions in Ulster Park is the closest, with a hayride, a corn maze and walk-through haunts spread over 65 acres. Plan ahead, though: tickets run about $69 to $74 online plus tax, kids 8 and under aren't allowed on the evening attractions, and they want you there 30 minutes early to swap your reservation at the window.
TerrorDome Haunted Scream Park in Newburgh is $44.95 with unlimited re-entry all night, and they cap ticket sales so the creatures can stalk everyone personally. There's also clown mini golf and laser tag. Pure Terror Scream Park in Monroe has ten haunted attractions in one spot and runs rain or shine. For something smaller, Haunted Barn and Monster's Ball in Wassaic is one weekend only, with an all-ages haunted mill and a 21+ costume party.
