Not everything here is seasonal. Universal Horror Unleashed is a permanent indoor attraction with four movie-quality haunted houses, and most people spend two to three hours there on an unlimited ticket (from $89). It's not recommended for kids under 13. Heads up: last entry is two hours before closing. Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum is a different kind of creepy. It's a 1938 mansion full of cursed artifacts, the Dybbuk Box and Dr. Jack Kevorkian's Death Van. Tickets sell quickly, so reserve ahead.

If you want to pick your own scare level, Halloween Maze Las Vegas sells an $8 No Boo Pass (a glow stick that keeps things passive) and an $8 Touch Pass for the opposite. Choose wisely. Buying online also saves $5 on general admission. With little kids, Haunted Harvest at Springs Preserve runs Oct 22 to Oct 25 with trick-or-treat stations, at $14 for non-members. It's cashless, so bring a card.
