The story is a toy company out in Manor unveiling its most lifelike toy yet, and you go through in small groups. It takes about an hour. Sign the liability waiver online before you show up. Everybody needs one.
For a more classic haunted house night, House of Torment Haunted House has the licensed Jason Voorhees walkthrough plus axe throwing and mini escape games. It says it may be too intense for kids 12 and under. Bat City Scaregrounds in Buda runs three big houses, including a 3D one called Slaughter Mall. Wear real shoes, it's gravel and ramps. If you'd rather hear ghost stories, Haunted ATX Hearse & Van Tours drives you around in a converted Cadillac hearse. Honestly, it beats walking.
